“The old man and his Time” by Pietro Di Gaspare

Pietro di Gaspare was born in Menaggio.  He first displayed artistic talent at a young age when he designed fabrics, ties and scarves in a textile firm in Como as well as by collaborating graphically with Valtur. He later went on to work as a journalist and graphic designer in the Canton of Ticino and devoted himself to creating murals. In Ticino, he painted for various companies, restaurants, bars and private houses, becoming well known in Ticino and in the Ceresio area. In 2008, he founded the “Compagnia del Castello”, a non-profit foundation with the aim of raising awareness of the local area.
